Women's refuge Charity Competition

This Christmas Portmore Golf club decided the would do something special and make a difference to a local charity. Portmore held a competition where all the entrants were to bring a gift for the ladies at the woman's refuge instead of paying their normal entry fee. This was an overwhelming success that stunned the whole club. We were so pleased as a club at our members generosity and it definitely helped at the refuge. Mandy and Leah Webber delivered all 10 large hamper full of the gifts to the refuge on Christmas eve and all the staff were shocked at how well we had done and said we would have definitely made a big difference to their Christmas this year.
