They started their run of good form by going to Honiton in the Emerton Court Trophy. The ties are played over 2 legs with matches played both home and away.
The away leg was always going to be a difficult tie but the seniors were up for the challenge and recorded a superb victory by 3 matches to 2 to put themselves in an excellent position with the home leg to come.
Needing to win 3 matches in the home leg to gurantee their progress the seniors were up for the challenge. They took control of the match and ran out 5 - 0 winners to leave the match score 8 - 2.
This was a fantastic acheivment and is just reward for a lot of hard work that has gone on within the section.
The next success was achieved in the North Devon Seniors league meeting held at portmore.
Scoring was on a collective team stableford format and the seniors managed to record a score that was more than 25 points in front of the 2nd place team.
Willingcot were the next visitors to pit their skills against the in form seniors but yet again the seniors showed their battling qualities to record a victory by 4 matches to 2.
Its great to see the seniors having some well deserved success and long may it continue through the season ahead.
