Portmore Ladies have begun the defence of their Devon Ladies League title with a superb 10 points to 3 home victory against Staddon Heights.

Having won the title twice as well as losing in the semi final once in the past 3 years the ladies are determined to battle their way through to another finals day.

The ladies managed to win 5 out of the 6 matches played against a good Staddon team.

The ladies are in a group also containing Tiverton and Tavistock and will play each team on a home and away basis.

The ladies next fixture is at home to Tiverton on Friday 23rd and we wish the ladies well and also for the remainder of their campaign.
