The Portmore seniors have just completed their most successful season to date by winning the North Devon Veterans League finals day at Holsworthy Golf Club.

Playing as a 6 man team in a stableford format the seniors managed to hold off a strong challenge by Ilfracombe to secure the title.

The winning team members on the day were:
Peter Arnold (Capt), Tim Ayles, Eric Horton, Dave Darch, Ray Joesbury and Roy Thorne.
Other members of the squad who played their part through the season were:
Bob Leweldon, Simon Hopkins, Sam Metivier and Rick Yeo.

The seniors have put together a strong section over the past 12 months and have had numerous successes throughout the county and are looking forward to continued success in the future.
