Dave Goldsmith won the club qualifier for the National Pro-am competition.

Dave beat Harold Crocombe on count back to earn his place alongside club professional Darren Everett as they head to Saunton to compete in the regional final on 5th May.

Awaiting the winners of the regional final is an all expenses 5 star trip to the Bahamas to contest the grand final in November. This may seem like a pipe dream but Professional Darren Everett knows only to well that they have a great chance as he qualified for the Grand final in 2008 with then partner Paul Ackland.Darren said "you always enter these events thinking wouldn't it be great if but not really expecting to win but then myself and Paul won 2 years ago and it just shows you that if you can turn up with your game on the day and you gell well as a pair then you have always got a chance.Myself and Dave are good freinds so we will definitely enjoy the day whatever happens but we also both know that we will give 100% effort to try and win".
