The first ever pros day was held recently with 132 players competing for a big prize table.
On a day of brilliant weather the players took advantage of the golf course in superb condition to produce some excellent scores in a battle to finish in the prizes.
The winners of the day were Alison West and Mick Mcmanus who recorded an excellent 60pts to win by one point from Ed and Jack Jenkins.
Their were also 18 nearest the pin prizes as well as a long drive on the wii competition. The putting competition was keenly contested with Amanda Webber winning the evening playoff and therefore collecting the prize of a New Ping putter.
The presentation and prize draw was superbly attended and the 1st prize in the draw of golf balls for a year was won by Frank Hodges.
Professional Darren Everett was overwhelmed by the support of the day and thanks to the generosity of all who played was able to make donations to both the Captains charity and the Mini Bus fund.
